I don’t have any words adequate enough to describe today. Once in a lifetime is a phrase to often thrown around carelessly, yet today I saw at least three things that qualify.

So many great shots! Hard to pick one but there’s something about this lonely elephant walking away that speaks to me.

By the way, thank you to all who have commented on the photos I’ve shared. My internet access while here is infrequent and sometimes unreliable. Thus, I’ve not been able to thank everyone individually (which is likely better for your timeline anyway). Just know I appreciate it. More to come.

The view from breakfast…

Of course, there is the view from the balcony of our room for the night.

Black and white variation:

Best photo of the day was, once again, the one I took in portrait. Starting to suspect that Africa is made for portrait.

The best shot I took of this morning’s Zanzibar sunrise might be one I took in portrait mode.

Good morning!

Listening to the sounds of the birds waking up with the sunrise in the middle of Tanzanian coffee groves following a nights gentle rain.

Theres just something about these angles and lines.
