A reminder for reading non-fiction books: Many in this genre make the point within the first 50 pages. It’s OK to say that you read it, add it to the finished pile, and move on to the next. There’s no shame in that.

Alrighty then, Microblogians, if I were to export posts from one Micro.blog in order to import them into another Micro.blog (while preserving the post dates, etc. in the new one) what Export format would I choose?
Need to start thinking of folding all of my Micro.blogs into one. It’s a bit out of hand at the moment.
I’m an old guy and I’m trying.
Note to self: You know that Benjamin Moore Navajo White doesn’t look white in the can. Nor does it look white when you paint it on the trim. Nor does look like the same white as your existing trim. But, when you put the trim next to the color on the wall, it’ll be the same. Trust the process.

More than a bit surprised that Apple.com has nothing up about the 40th Anniversary of the Mac.
Maybe they consider The Vision Pro their 40th Anniversary Macintosh?
My head is in full book writing/finishing mode right now but I have to do other things and my head resents all of it getting in its way and keeps fighting for control and I hate this part of the process because it is both maddening and exciting at the same time.
Gonna need to teach myself book design and layout because there’s not enough time to hire someone and get it to print before the hard deadline I’ve set.
Maybe it’s because I’m old. Therefore, I have to reduce new things I encounter to simple, sensible, analogies that my addled brain can understand. But here it is… I don’t see Micro.blog as a social network. I see it as a collection/aggregation of blogs. Therefore, in this context, replies are comments on those blog posts. That means the Micro.blog Timeline is essentially an RSS feed of the blog posts and related comments on those posts.
