Wondering how many pencil nerds even knew about these special edition Blackwings for Indie Book Store Day.

Having a hard time sleeping. So, I sketchnoted what was occupying my mind. Which, for some odd reason, is my wardrobe for this coming fall and winter. I don’t know why my mind works this way or why it was even thinking about this. But here we are.

Here’s the things that we’ll now have to cancel:

  • Our 16th wedding anniversary tomorrow.
  • Our Father’s Day trip to the cabin this weekend.
  • Potentially our summer road trip out west.

Just tested positive for Covid 19. Double vaxed and double boosted.

Will have to cancel so many special plans now.

Very upset.

Just want to throw some belated kudos @manton’s way for the Bookshelves feature in Micro.blog. Such an elegantly simple way to manage one’s book reading and make quick little posts about it. Been doing this for 10 years on my own but this makes it so much easier/better.

I could not resist showing @pratik my handwritten and hand drawn travel log that is almost identical to his composition wise.

2022 for my wife

  • January: Loses major client.
  • February: Falls 15 min into a XC ski class; breaks wrist.
  • March: Surgery for Wrist
  • April: Covid
  • May: Falls getting out of bathtub, breaks nose.

My wife’s terrible no good very bad 2022 continues: Currently at the ER because she was tripped up by one of the cats and fell in the bathroom getting out of the shower and broke her nose.

I want my notes to be future-proof and platform-agnostic

I’m currently reading: Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear 📚

So far, I feel like everything I need to get from it could be gained by simply reading the most popular highlighted passages. There needs to be an app for that.
