Dear Weed Smokers,
While I fully support your right to partake, especially in states like ours where it is legal, do know that we can smell you. When you are partaking in your car, we can smell you three lengths back (and, frankly, that is still DUI, so stop). When you partake in your car before going into the restaurant, we can smell you three tables over. When you walk into a store after a visit to the dispensary and decide to test a sample before walking into the store, we smell it in the vestibule after you’ve already checked out and left.
You don’t think anyone can. You don’t smell it, I know. You’re too in it. Just know that we do, and it’s not pleasant to encounter for those of us who don’t or are more discrete.
Like I said, I believe in and will vigorously defend your right to imbibe. I, and I’m sure many others, would rather not smell it everywhere I go.
